About Me
I am a licensed psychologist and sex therapist in the state of Pennsylvania. I have previously worked in public schools, community mental health, psychiatric and medical hospitals, and private group practice. My specialties include working with adults, couples, parents, and the LGBTQAI+, poly, and kink communities.
Cognitive Orientation
I do not have one specific cognitive orientation, but instead see the value in taking pieces from multiple theories of psychology in order to create the environment that is best suited for each client. I have collected strategies from several different areas including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, individual psychology, feminist therapy, interpersonal therapy, structural family therapy, queer theory, emotion focused therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
Insurance
I currently only accept one type of Health Insurance, which is Highmark Blue Shield (this is not the same as Personal Choice or Keystone). If requested, I can provide receipts so that you can submit them to your private insurance company to try to receive some Out Of Network reimbursement.
Session Fees
The individual session rate is $185 per 50 minute session.
Couples therapy sessions are $200.
Couples therapy is private pay only.
A sliding scale fee may be available based on proof of need. Please use the contact form on this website if you would like to discuss this possibility.
*Please note that there is a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within that time frame, you will be charged for the full session amount.
